Logo of the Barcelona Dragons football team, an entry in the World League of American Football (later known as NFL Europe) from 1991 to 2003. The Dragons played in the “World Bowl” championship game 4 times and won once. Former Boston College coach Jack Bicknell was the team’s head coach for its’ entire duration, and some notable Dragon players who went on to NFL careers are Kelly Holcomb, Jon Kitna, Brian Finneran, La’Roi Glover and Keith Traylor.
